Silvia Caimi

Silvia Caimi, born in Mantua, Italy studied in humanities. She has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, won multiple awards, including - in 2014 - the medal of the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano. After London and Spoleto International Art Fair, her work was selected by critics for major exhibitions representing Italian painters abroad. She participated in 2014 at the projects "Imagine" and "Rotta Northeast", curated by Prof.Giammarco Puntelli. Selected for the Biennial of New York in 2015 and the Biennial of Dubai in 2016, she has been selected for an important retrospective of the Italian master Aligi Sassu.
Her works have been exhibited at Mantegna's House in Mantua, Miami, and are now permanently exhibited in New York Gallery. In 2016 she exhibited at Gravedona on Lake Como in the project "The Labyrinth of the hypnotist" curated by Giammarco Props and in the Montichiari Biennal. In 2016 she participated in the project "Eternity in Art", exhibiting during the Jubilee in the Four Crowned Saints' Church in Rome.
In her solo show at Pietrasanta, on the occasion of the opening of the DAP Festival 2017, she is in collaboration with the Theater of Dance of Sisina Augusta, with a performance inspired by the title of the exhibition "Jump".
She attended the "infinity" project curated by Giammarco Puntelli in autumn 2017, exhibiting in the Master Class at the Palazzo Ducale of Sabbioneta (Mantua), at the Pall Mall Gallery in London and in the Galleries Sebastian Art and Naive Gallery of Dubrovnick.
